Emerald Falls

Yesterday we got a chance to visit a trail we have heard about from a friend many times and seen some pretty cool photos as well. The weather has always been the kicker so myself and the boys were excited to get a chance to explore here.

I have posted a lot of pictures because I had a hard time choosing what with such wonderful new life on the forest floor and other places!

It was quite a steep trek up but the sound of the rushing water made us want to make it to the top!

My camera bag was heavy but it was worth it – and a good workout up the hill. 🙂03Jun2015_Emerald Waterfalls_4403Jun2015_Emerald Waterfalls_17 03Jun2015_Emerald Waterfalls_18 03Jun2015_Emerald Waterfalls_26 03Jun2015_Emerald Waterfalls_31

  1. It was so great having you guys! You got some great shots! I totally forgot I even grabbed your camera to get that one of you and the boys. Nice!
We will have to make the trek to the big creek next time!
Let me know what you think of the book. I started it but did not get a chance to finish before I had to return it.
    xx

    • I’d love to go to the big creek – anywhere really! I hope to get the book done before it goes back as I was on a long waiting list. 🙂

  2. Looks like a fantastic place to explore! Great photos–and I have the same issue with no pictures of me with my kids (or me at all!! I’m always the one behind the camera).
